The Hampden Stargardt Garden designed by EGS alumni Joanne Edmonds and Camilla Windsor-Clive is a Container Garden is inspired by the Hampshire countryside.  A sensory healing space for the visually impaired and particularly those individuals with Stargardt disease.  It combines soothing sounds of running water over a blackened ash water feature preserved with the traditional wood burning Japanese technique of yakisugi, the tactile feel of wooden seating and the scents of surrounding plants.   The garden was built by Sebastian Brand and Sponsored by Hampden.
