With a reputation for creating beautiful, timeless gardens, Nick has much experience working in landscape design, specialising in elegant country gardens and landscapes, that combine traditional design principles, with romantic, naturalistic planting. He is Managing Director of Taylor Tripp, which he co-founded with Richard in 1996. He believes passionately that a successful garden is one that responds not only to the surrounding landscape, but to the architecture and history of the place, creating a harmony between the house and garden. Inspired by a childhood spent in the garden and a life-long love of nature, Nick studied Landscape Design at the English Gardening School, under the guidance of Rosemary Alexander and Anthony du Gard Pasley.
