BEN POPE WEB

Do you have a potentially good garden but do not know where to begin?

This 4 day course held in the celebrated garden of Rosemary Alexander at Rogate near Petersfield, covers all you need to know to begin caring for your garden.  Understanding your soil, choosing and buying new plants, common pests and diseases, growing new plants from seed and from cuttings, lawns, growing food, pruning existing climbers, shrubs and trees – how, when and why – weeds and their control, mulching and composting are all explained and demonstrated.

The four days will be spent gaining practical experience in Rosemary Alexander’s much praised garden where she and Ben Pope will give participants a chance to prune, plant and sow seeds and regular maintenance tasks will be discussed.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided daily
